‘Quilts made of four large blocks were popular from the 1850s through to the early 1900s. Similar to a Lone Star block, Touching Stars is stunning in a contrast of red and white fabric,' says Linda, 'For this version, a pieced block called Simple Design was added in some corner squares.’
